Advance Payment Policy


On confirmation of booking your contract is with M/s Vacation Lifters Pvt. Ltd. A contract exists between us when we confirm your tour/travel services and have received the deposit amount from your end. Deposit:

For the services contracted, a minimum deposit of 25% of the total cost is to be paid by you to our company. The deposit is required to hold the booking on confirmed basis. Once you finalize with the services, we request you to pay 25% of the total amount as advance payment and to confirm. Once we receive the money in our account, we will start booking your tour. You can pay your next 50% payment 7 days prior to departure or when you receive your basic travel documents. The balance 25% of the total payment shall be paid on arrival in the city from where the tour will begin. However, for special train journeys and for hotel or resorts reservations during the peak season (Christmas /New Year/Conference) at least 75% payment is required. And any flight or train booking will also invite 100% advance payment of the total airfare or train fare. Modes of Payment

You can send the advance payment to our bank through the Bank Wire Transfer or by online payment gateway system through Visa & Master Card powered by Pay pal through our website. The balance payment can be made on arrival at India through Travelers Cheque or Credit Card (VISA/MASTER) but cash will be preferred. In case of payment through credit card via Pay Pal, the bank charges (4% extra) – would be levied over and above the total amount.

Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure Policy

We understand that you only have to cancel your tour due to some major reason. However, we request you to inform us in written. We would try our best to reduce the cancellation charges however as a general policy the cancellation charges would be as follows.


  • 60 to 41 days prior to arrival – 5% of the total tour cost
  • 40 to 31 days prior to arrival – 10% of the total tour cost
  • 30 to 21 days prior to arrival – 20% of the total tour cost
  • 20 to 15 days prior to arrival- 25% of the total tour cost
  • 14 days to 07 days prior to arrival – 40% of the total tour cost
  • 06 days to 48 hours prior to arrival – 60% of the total tour cost


Less than 48 hours or no show – NO REFUND.

Also, the transaction amount will be deducted on refund (Bank Remittances / Credit Card) Please Note:- Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour / travel services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 5% or $100 (whichever is more) as service charges would be applicable. However, cancellation for the luxury trains like Palace on Wheels, Golden Chariot, Deccan Odyssey, Royal Orient etc. and peak season tour bookings (from 15th Dec to 15th Jan) cancellation policy would be advised at the time of reservation. After commencement of the tour if you cancel due to some reason, we would try our best for the refund from the hoteliers and airlines and the same would be advised to you. However Vacation Lifters Pvt. Ltd do not bear any responsibility of the refund for the hotels, chartered transportation and any other services that have been unused after the commencement of the tour. Refund Policy

Vacation Lifters Pvt. Ltd will always expedite the process of the refund payment. It may take 2 to 4 weeks for our bank to refund the payment. For all refund payments to Bank Account and Credit Card the bank charges would be applicable and the same would be debited from the payment that is refunded as per our cancellation policy described above. Liabilities & Limitations Policy

On the contracted tours / service cost if there are any hikes by the Government of India for the guide charges, fuel cost, entrance fees of the museum, monuments and service tax than the same would be paid by the guest. Vacation Lifters Pvt. Ltd acts as agent for the airlines, railways, transporters, contractors and hotels. All exchange orders, contracts, tickets and receipts are issued by us in lieu of the terms and conditions and according to the services provided by the above.

The itineraries that are provided to the guests are basically our sample itineraries intending to give you an outline of the trip schedules that are offered by us. However, certain factors like weather, the physical ability of the guest and the road condition etc renders us to make some changes in the schedule either before the tour or while you are on the trail itself. Thus, the right of changing the schedule is exclusively determined by us keeping in mind the safety, comfort and the well being of the guest. We charge you as per the prevailing rates in the market and the rates are also negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines and all our other clients. However airlines and hotels retain the right of modifying the rates without giving us prior notice. In this case Vacation Lifters holds the right to charge the rate as per the modified rates that is done by the airlines and the hotels. The hotel booking are always done according to the usual check in and checkout procedure and time of the hotel which is mentioned in our itinerary and any changes would be notified by us in the itinerary also. If there are any delay or alteration in the program or in the expenses that has to be incurred due to certain conditions like the natural hazards, accident, flight cancellations, weather, sickness, political closures, breakdown of machinery, breakdown of transport or due to any untoward incidents, Vacation Lifters would not be responsible for it either directly or indirectly. Guests are requested to take care of all their belongings and if there is any loss, injury or damage to any person, property connected to the accommodation, transportation and other service that is rendered by us that are caused directly or indirectly by factors like accidents, natural calamities, breakdowns, wars, thefts, civil disturbances, strikes, epidemics, and any other unexpected causes that are beyond our control, we shall not be responsible for it because we have no insurance policy that can borne the expenses of accidents, loss caused by sickness and theft etc. Hence, we request our guests to seek such insurance policy in their hometown itself so that they can enjoy a comfortable and tension free trip with us. We also expect you to take care of all your personal belongings as any loss related to baggage and personal property would be borne by you.

Arrival and Departure Policy

Check-In – 12:00 Hours

Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made starting from the previous night.

Check – Out – 1200 Hours

Later check-outs are available on request and subject to availability / payment.
